Welcome to St. Mark Catholic Church Community
Highlands Ranch, Colorado
Established as a parish of the Colorado Springs Diocese on Easter Sunday, April 23, 2000,
we became St. Mark Catholic Church to live out the gospel of Jesus Christ as journeying people.
We will model the gospel of Saint Mark and make sure those considered on the “outside” of
society are truly on the “inside” of the Kingdom of God. "No one will be left in the dust."
Our motto is "We can be kind and we can take care of each other." We would be honored to have
you worship with us.
Parish Faith Formation
There will be no PFF on Wednesday, May 7, 2008. The next PFF will be held on Wednesday, May 14th
from 6:30 to 7:45 pm. The topic will be "Mary, Mother of God" presented by Bishop Richard Hanifen.
Spanish Mass
The St Mark Hispanic Ministry, Hermanos en Cristo, invites you to celebrate Mass in Spanish on
Friday, May 9th at 7:00 pm. Father Frank Quezada, Director of Hispanic Ministry for the Colorado Springs
Diocese will be our celebrant. Join us afterwards for a gathering in the lower level Parish Hall. Bring

High School Mission Trip to Cortez
This summer TUFF will be going to Cortez, CO for their Annual Mission Trip, leaving Sunday, June 15th
after the 7:30 Mass and returning Friday, June 20th. The trip will consist of home improvement and
ministry to young children to help them learn more about Jesus. The HS youth
will be handing out M&M containers. Please take a few, enjoy the candy, and fill up the containers
with quarters. When full, bring them back to the church to help fund the youth mission trip.
Please keep them in your prayers as they "Make a Difference!".

Parish Pictorial Directory
St Mark is finalizing a pictorial directory for our church family. Persons interested in working on the layout
and/or articles are requested to contact our parish manager, Bridget McEowen at the church office.
Due to the overwhelming response, additional dates have been provided for parishioners to schedule
a picture session. The link below will take you to the Lifetouch website which has instructions on how
to register online for a date-time for your portrait session.

Vacation Bible School 2008
The VBS SonWorld Adventure Park "On a Thrilling Ride with Jesus" will be held June 23rd thru June 27th.
