First Eucharist

Sacramental Preparation

Preparation for First Eucharist is typically done in the Spring of
the Second grade year. Celebration of the sacrament is usually held at
weekend Masses in late April and early May.

As per Diocesan guidelines, "in order for a child to receive
First Eucharist he/she must have completed at least one year of religious
education prior to the year in which preparation for First
Eucharist occurs"

Dates for 2008 meetings are:
Parent/Child Workshop 1 (choose one; Deadline Date = March 5):
WS 1A Sat, Mar 8 at 10:00 am
WS 1B Sun, Mar 9 at 2:00 pm
WS 1C Sat, Mar 29 at 10:00 am
Parent/Child Workshop 2 (choose one; Deadline Date = April 9):
WS 2A Sat, April 12 at 10:00 am
WS 2B Sun, April 13 at 2:00 pm
WS 2C Sat, April 19 at 10:00 am

Attendance at two workshops is required for children and their parents/guardians who are
preparing to celebrate the Sacrament of Eucharist for the first time. Please sign up for only
one date at each of the workshops. Click on the following links for more information and to
