The Social Justice and Outreach Ministry of St. Mark Catholic Church provides opportunities for the parish to grow in understanding of Catholic Social Teaching and in awareness of Social Justice issues locally, nationally and globally. Social Outreach encourages participation of all parishioners to service the poor and outcast through direct outreach projects and social change efforts. Our work is grounded in the mission of Jesus Christ to bring good news to the poor, proclaim liberty to captives, and set free the oppressed. Thus, being the continuation of the Gospel of St. Mark.
