Thanksgiving COMPA Outreach

Compa Food Ministry,
a nonprofit food distributor, supplies local food banks throughout the year
and organizes this Thanksgiving Outreach Program. Volunteers deliver food
baskets to families who have been nominated by friend or family. The delivery
day is always the weekend before Thanksgiving. The food is distributed
from the Western Stock Show Complex. Approximately 16,000 to 18,000 families
have food delivered on that day. Sign-up sheets are available 2-3 weeks
before that date.
This a wonderful ministry to help those less fortunate than ourselves and
to thank God for our blessings.

Note: We meet on a Saturday at St Mark about
9:00 am to drive to the complex, pick up our food baskets, and deliver them.
